We had a fun packed weekend, went to St Andrews Market and then on to Eltham to look at a press machine Saturday, then on Sunday I got to play and went to the Copic Project Certification in Melbourne, what fun we had, it was great to catch up with Mandi and some girls I had met at the Copic Standard Certification.
Now our challenge over at the Mad for Markers Challenge Blog is to create a Male Creation using some of your brown copics! Now I have used Oliver (Sammi is now stocking The Greeting Farm Stamps) and made a Dinosaur Bag for Morgan's Dinosaurs, now I should have sort the dinosaurs out before I made the bag lol! As they seemed to have grown! So you could say it is a sleeping bag as a few heads will be popping out!
I have stamped the image onto the calico then coloured in with copics, for the writing, I wrote the outline with the mulitliner 0.3 then coloured in using various colours of brown copics, then stitched it up with my sewing machine.
The stars have been made using shrink plastic, which was coloured using E35, then used a CM star punch and the SU Crop a dile for the hole in the centre (ish). Then used my heat gun to shrink them, this is the first time I have used shrink plastic and at the same time made some Inky embellishments too. I had split the string, so I could thread it through the holes and used string for the tie at the top.
Copics
B21, 24, 91, 95
C1, 2, 7
E000, 00, 13, 25, 31, 33, 35, 37, 47, 50, 99
W00, 1, 3
YG63 and 0
Sammi over at the Mad for Markers Store now has the full selection of Sketch and ciaos in stock, as well as TGF stamps and various Xpress It products.
