Pink and Pearly over at the Cowgirl Up Ranch

Howdy all,

This is a quick post as we have our visitors this weekend, we have had a Fantastic time showing them round, catching up and they had their first BBQ in OZ.  Hope you all having a wonderful weekend.

The Cowgirls challenge you this week to make a creation using pearls, the colour pink with a little purple or green.  I have used CJ's image Emlee, pictured her in my head, with dark hair and darkish skin tone, this is the first time I have done either of these!   Not sure I had got it right, but growing on me and hubby says its good.  Also a first for the dolley (thank you Sammi who sent me a lovely package of coloured ones using her compressor).  The pearls were originally ivory and I coloured them with my copic V17.  Glitter card for the base of the card.

Our sponsors this week is the talented Paula from Pollycraft Stores who will be giving the winner a voucher to the value of $10.00 to spend in the store.

The Top Three will be given an image of choice from our CJ.

Don't forget to stop by and take a peek at the other Cowgirls gorgeous creations.

ATC Challenge and Swap at Mad for Markers

Hi all, our challenge at Mad for Markers this fortnight is to make an ATC (Artist Trading Card) measuring 3.5" x 2.5", now don't be put off by the size, these are fun to make, just learn from my lesson, make sure your image fits on that size of card before you colour lol!

Now I have used Inky Impressions Lili's secret, coloured her with Copics, isn't she just cute look at her FRV1 (Flourescent Pink) coloured nails with a little special effects added (just a little fiddly lol). Also used special effects on those gorgeous blue eyes, shoes, hair band and flowers. Used Kindyglitz on these gorgeous flowers from Bizzy Becs, yes I have got flowers, what a tough decision to either use the blue or the pink in the end I put both on and then as you can see I got carried away with the kindyglitz so fairly sparkly lol! Just might of overdone it a little hehe, so not like me. Cut around the sentiment, distressed then sponged with Regal Rose.

Copic Colours used:

Face & Skin - E000, E00, R20, R22 & B26
Hair - E50, E51, E53 & Y26
Clothes & Shoes - B91, B95, B97, (Trousers) R81, R83, R85 (Top)
FRV1, E13, E25 & YR16

The complete copic range is available from Sammi at the Mad for Markers Store, delivering to Australia and New Zealand.

This challenge is on till 10th July, don't forget to pop over to the Mad for Markers Blog each week day for some wonderful inspiration from the talented Mad for Markers DT. We thought we would have a little more fun this challenge and we are asking all entrants and DT to send in their ATC's to Sammi and she will swap them about and post back out to everyone and don't forget the winner gets to be Guest Designer for our next challenge. A card at last and some very EXCITING NEWS!!

Hi all, what a couple of weeks, my mojo went AWOL not sure it is back yet! Must get this of my chest been having a very trying time with bullying of my son, so forgot how cruel some children can be, needless to say every time I sat to craft all I could think about was this problem!! It is times like this that I wish I had been bright enough to home school my children, but I daresay that is not the answer either, anyway enough of this back to my sanctuary, my crafting world!!!
First pick me up last week was being inked by the Inky Impressions Girls, these are very talented ladies and there are always amazing entries, so did a happy dance Wednesday night much to Rusty's amusement, he joined in, game for anything (he is our German Shepherd). Still on cloud nine when Sammi emailed me to ask if I would join her Design Team at Mad for Markers, YES YES YES, so a another happy dance around the factory, good job there were no customers lol! So gone beyond cloud nine, I am so looking forward to working with her talented self and talented team, must admit just a little nervous as they are extremely talented, but so looking forward to it, the lovely Debra has swapped Tuesdays so I can take part in the current challenge on the 4th May, thank you. Our challenge which starts today for two weeks is Monochromatic (shades of one colour), please join us Sammi has a prize of a $10.00 voucher to her Mad for Markers Store, now I am sure we can all use an extra copic or two lol!
Anyway been trying to get this card made all week for the Anya Ink Challenge #2 Pink and Sparkly, glad it is running for two weeks and without realising it also fits our Mad for Markers Challenge.
This card is made for a gorgeous little girl who lives across the road who will be turning eight next month and is having a party on the 1st and her best friends Rosanna and Morgan are invited, they have so much fun playing in the court together, lovely bunch of children they have races, we had a talent show in the hols and the parents had to come and watch it was wonderful. Edward's ute is their Club House called 'Club House Rocket Star', lots of meetings, colouring and planning takes place there. Karly's mum and I have become friends too and sometimes meet to keep and eye on the children, couple of chairs on Lisa's front oh and where did that bottle of wine come from lol!
The number eight has been stamped randomly then I painted it and the flowers with Karly's name on with Simmerz Blingz Poinsettia Pink (from Susana's Store). Martha Stewart Monarch Butterfly punch, looooove this punch, used dazzling diamonds, chunky glitter, embellishments and kindyglitz. Pink is Karly's favourate colour.

Chloe has to be one of my favourate TGF images, which my crafting friend Emma has a whole stash of, went to Emma's for a play last Monday and Chloe came home with me, thanks Emma.
Coloured using my Copics, still experimenting with different hair colours and getting the light in the right place.

My second Sweet Pea Creation

Hi all, hope you are all enjoying your weekend, got this pretty Sweet Pea image coloured and just couldn't get my background right and struggled with the odd charm, still not sure if it is quite right but the challenge at Sweet Pea Stamps finishes the 17th (21hrs) so time is running out lol! The challenge is to create an ATC card 2.5" x 3.5" using the colours Pink and Purple and add an 'odd' embellishment.
Now DH and DS say I have glittered the wings too much I should have been more subtle! For the embellishment I have used one of Rosanna's hair clips you twist them into your hair, this is the last of six as she kept losing them, the R is a mobile telephone accessory. (Someone has a 13th birthday coming up).

The image I have used is ching chou kuik's Red Hearts (but as you can see mine are purple lol!) Coloured her in using my Copics, still new to using them but I absolutely loooooove them, used special effects in places and three different stickles for the wings. To be honest not too sure what an ATC was so hope I have got it right!

Also entered Danni's Flutter by Wednesday #105

Thank you for visiting, happy crafting and have a great weekend, take careX:)

This is my second post for today my first is a fun blog hop with a difference if you are interested please check it out.

Magnolia Wiper Card

Hi all, Now don't be shocked, challenged myself to be lots more blingy and flowery (not easy lol). So not easy using grey either but here you are pink and grey, was lucky to have a coffee and a play at my friends Emma's in the week (got a pass to go in late) we got our touch markers together and Emma got some Copic sketch markers, which are so different to my touch markers, so went for a play and coloured this lovely image as you can see still need to practice. My wish list is made!!
This is the second wiper card I have made and this one is huge, hubby wants to know why make a card that can't fit in an ordinary envelope!! Hand stitched the flower using SU ribbons, added the heart button with silver metallic embroidery thread for the middle. The gorgeous roses are my new purchase from Bizzy Becs, then placed them on flowers from my stash that I kindyglitz the bottom layer, there are two layers plus the rose. Machined stitched various papers and distressed edges. Also used my new Distress Stickles - Brushed Pewter for the balloon and her wings, from Susana's Store. Please see my Sidebar for links to these stores, Bec and Susana are such lovely ladies to deal with. All cardstock and dsp SU. For 1, 2, 3 challenges, 1 gorgeous image or 1 handmade flower, 2 matching layered flowers on the very left or two hearts on Tilda's pockets, 3 little bud roses in the leaf ribbon or 3 beaded hearts to the very left or 3 dsp, then I went onto 4 beautiful layered roses lol.

My Inky Impressions Mingle card for Angela

Hi all, first apologies for the pictures, had to take tonight as I am working tomorrow and wanted to post this to Angela, whom I met through Yahoo Inky Impressions Group, you should check it out there are some wonderful creations. It has been a while since I have inked my Inky Girls up (a little distracted with Digital Images). This is Fairy Lili (one of my favourates), I have used touchmarkers to colour, kindyglitz on her wings and hair ties and special effects on her eyes. I have stitched in various places but was not brave enough to stitch the image on, maybe another time. Have pleated (I think) then stitched the ribbon down the middle.
Also distressed the edges and sponged around the image

This is the inside, stamps from Stampin Up Sets

All card stock, dsp and ribbon - Stampin Up

The crochet flower was made by Alison, picked these up from Stamp Camp, must find out how to make them, bought the crochet hook and thread, a challenge for another day.

Anya #5, Inkspirations #15, LLLA Challenge #11, Flutterby Wednesday #82 and Jaimie

Good Morning All, made this last night and waited till this morning hoping to get a better picture, but no sunshine yet!
This is Snuggles
The first challenge is Anya #5, Paper Tole, to make a creation adding layers to your card to create a 3d image, I have used Snuggle had her coloured but just couldn't think of a layout then Makeesha posted Inkspirations Challenge #15 which was a sketch, my ribbons and image are a little low, when I drew the sketch into my blog/doodle book didn't draw them high enough, will pay better attention next time! Then Flutterby Wednesday #82, to use a fairy/butterfly, so I added the little butterfly given (from my friend Emma). I decided to make this into a journal/doodle book for Jaimie, you will see in my earlier post, she has been through a terrible time, going to send this with some stickers, pens etc. Finally for the La-La Land Challenge #11 to use pink on your card/project, so managed to squeeze it into this challenge too!

Inky Impressions Challenge 17

Hi all, Postie brought me some goodies last week, Yes Inky Impression Stamps, Inky Impression Shop so been wanting some of these for ages, Debbie P's fault, she keeps creating with all these beautiful stamps/images. Hubby dreads it when I mention her name now, because he is sure it will involve parting with some money LOL! So I entered Inky Impressions Challenge 17 which was to make a gift using an Inky Impression Stamp, only just it made on time, then when trying to put it on my blog the computer decided it would play up and not give me internet connection, someone, somewhere was definately testing my patients!!

Anyway so I have used Lili's awareness ribbon stamp and made this photo album for my mum in law who is going to be 85.

Lili has a slight rash on her arm, nothing to do with my colouring skills LOL!

Cardstock, dsp and stamp images - Stampin up, ribbons etc from my stash.
Hope the above makes sense as it was typed in a rush and people are wanting feeding.
Thanks for looking, happy crafting, take careX:)

Anya Ink's 1st Challenge and MMSC21

Hi all, just a quick one, while Rosanna and hubby are busy making a ant colony (one of her birthday pressies).

This post is combining two challenges, MMSC21 which is to use the sketch below and Anya Ink's 1st Challenge, which is a colour challenge using Pink, Brown and Cream or White if needed, also to use a Greetings Farm Image. I wanted to make a card for my mum-in-law who is going to be 85 on Sunday, I also wanted to use a picture took recently, of her one of her great grandchild and two grandchildren. So to keep in with the Anya colour challenge I took a picture of the card before I attached the photo.

and this is the finished card for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge with the photo on, can't believe how different the colours look.

I have used all Stampin Up card stock and DSP, (not comfortable using brown, so quite a challenge), the brads from my stash and the stamped Anya from a friend.

The Anya image is coloured in using my Brand New Touch Twin Markers, yes I spoilt myself, (couldn't wait till Xmas) after picking my lovely new friends Debbie P brains for advise, thankyou very much, just love them, just need to get some more colours for the skin tone, hair, purples etc, plus lots more practice colouring, to get anywhere near the standard of you pros out there, You Know Who You Are! Used my SU marker and blender pen for the skin tone and wings then added Kindy Klitz for the wings.

Thanks for looking, happy crafting, take careX:)

Danni's Dream: Flutter By Wednesday #74 Challenge

Hi all, this card is for Danni's Dream: Flutter By Wednesday #74, you have to create a card with a fairy or butterfly on, using Danni's favourate colour pink, and I have a friends birthday coming up soon who just loves pink too! Must say a big thankyou to Debbie for being so generous at stamp camp and taught me how to use her cuttlebug or one of those machines and I came away with several embossed Flower images, sorry can't remember the name, LOL, what am I like! For those who haven't visited her blog check it out, she has some fantastic creations.
Thanks for looking, Happy Crafting, Take Care, AnnetteX:)
