Hi all, I have been very lucky to receive these gorgeous blog awards from my lovely DT boss Sammi from Mad for Markers, who I am hoping to meet at the end of August when she comes to Melbourne, can't wait! She is going to have a Mad for Markers stall at Paperific, hopefully Tracey will get there to with her Spesch Stamp Images, so there could be a few M4M girls about, should be so much fun.

These first two were a little while ago, they came together so passing them on together, sorry Sammi that it took me so long to post. Aren't they just so cute, going to have to put this at the top of my blog I love teddies and pandas.

Now these two have to go to my blogging buddy Debbie P, she was my second follower and still comes and visits my place, as most of you will know she is a very talented lady and a busy one too. I have been lucky enough to meet her twice and am still in awe of her amazing creations which are very inspirational!

and just received this one last night again from Sammi

Here are the rules that go with it:

1. Put the Swap Sisters Bonny Blog Award on my blog.
2. Share 5 things about myself.
3. Pass the award onto 5 other Bonny Blogs.
4. Add links to my 5 chosen Bonny Blog Winners.
5. Let them know they have been chosen to win the Swap Sisters Bonny Blog Award by leaving a comment on their blog.

Now to share five things about me

1. I loooooove my hubby he is my best friend and my two wonderful children
2. I loooooove my copics, just need more time to play lol!
3. I loooooove my cyber world with all my wonderful cyber friends, it is just wonderful sharing and learning techniques/news from all over the world.
4. I loooooove traveling and so pleased we decided to come to Australia, there is so much to see and do, it really is great being outdoors walking or cycling.
5. I loooooove reading when I am not crafting, especially love when the children are on holiday and we read a book together, we didn't go anywhere till we read Harry Potter 7, lived off fast food for a day or two lol!

Now who to pass it onto, now would have sent to my M4M buddies and Tina, thanks Sammi wouldn't like to think how long my list would have got lol!

Heads Up for our Cowgirl's 'Anything Goes Challenge'

Hi all, Posse 2 will be leading our 'Anything Goes' Challenge starting July 25th, Posse 1 are giving you a little advance warning. I chose CJ's Dad 'n' Me image as it reminded me of an old photo of Edward as a little boy (not too long ago lol). Which I wanted to use on a scrapbooking page, found this gorgeous paper at Riot and Craft. The old photo Morgan scanned for me and made it a little bigger, Edward is in the blue, holding the hand of the farm hand Mr Fisher leading one of the farm horse with his brother riding. The heart shape photo is his first pony Patch and the middle was Mr Major (boy was he a handful) but thoroughly enjoyed riding him.
This is a close up of the beautiful image, not going to say how many attempts I had at colouring, haven't coloured a horse since I was little lol!

A close up of the old photo (approx 44/45 years ago)

Our sponsor for our 25th July Anything Goes is the talented Michelle Perkett
The winner will receive THREE images of their choice from Michelle's store, TWO images of their choice from CJ's store and a winners badge to display proudly on your blog.

The Three runners up will receive a "Top 3 Badge" to display proudly on your blog.

So don't forget to ride on over to the ranch and check out the talented Posse 2's creations on Sunday evening and Posse 1 as they post all links in the sidebar.

Hi all, our challenge this month, over at Mad for Markers is 'Colouring White' our talented DT member Kylie did a fantastic tutorial on Friday colouring Tilda images, gorgeous wedding images and a fun Mummy Edwin which you can find here, also here is a tutorial I did on colouring snow.

Stuck to three sets of colours and coloured images together, definately saved time. Won't say what a mess my work place was in, I normally tidy up as I go along lol! Got eleven Xmas cards made now.

Finally got to use my birthday pressies Snowflakes and Winter Trees Embossing folders
with my big shot

Isn't he just cute! I got to use my new razzleberry SU card, love this colour, I got a copic and ran it around the edges.

Pearls and Swirls Easel Card for Bizzy Becs and Oh Alice

Hi all, over at Bizzy Becs they have a store challenge going to use Pearls and Swirls on your creation, now this definately took me out of my comfort zone, can't remember using pearls, only just started using rhinestores lol! Our Sammi from Mad for Markers designed the sketch below for the Oh Alice Challenge with a twist, to break the rules meaning you have to redesign the sketch, not often you can have fun breaking rules without getting into trouble lol! First rule I broke was to make it circular, so hope thats o.k. and counts.
Finally, I have used Snow Queen from Tracey Spesch Stamps, coloured her gorgeous gown and gloves lightly using BV0000, BV00 and C00. The flower ribbon was coloured using BV00 then I glued a little pearl on for the centres, the pearl necklace and earing were coloured also using BV00. Some parts of the flowers were also coloured using BV00 then added Stickles Frosted Lace. Pearl ribbon across the middle.
The background I used my SU So Swirly Wheel, versamarked then heat embossed with purple powder. Used special effects on crown top and pearl images on the dress and hair, gold spica for the crown base.

Now this is my first attempt at using more than three flowers!! With a swirl of pearls leading away. Distressed and kindyglitzed around the edge of the base.

BV0000, BV00
E000, E50, E51, E53
R20 & Y26
Spica Gold Pen
DSP SU Cottage Wall, Pearls and Ribbons my stash, Roses and pearls in flower arrangement from Bizzy Becs.

Mad for Markers ATC Challenge, Birthday Cards and Gardening

Hi all, This is another schedule post, so hope it works, our challenge at Mad for Markers this fortnight is to make an ATC (Artist Trading Card) measuring 3.5" x 2.5", now don't be put off by the size, these are fun to make. This week I have used one of the Cheeky Girls (thanks Emma), thought I would enter Glitterbabe's Challenge again "Make It Sparkly", so I have added Gold Spica to her hair, Rosanna's Purple Groovy Chick glitter to the edges and Kindlyglitz to the rose and purple kaisercraft rhinestones (I think this has to be the most I have ever used on one card) I have used my new multiliner available from Sammi to draw in fishnet stockings. I am sorry I forgot to make a note of the colours I used.

This challenge is on till 10th July, don't forget to pop over to the Mad for Markers Blog each week day for some wonderful inspiration from the talented Mad for Markers DT. We thought we would have a little more fun this challenge and we are asking all entrants and DT to send in their ATC's to Sammi and she will swap them about and post back out to everyone and don't forget the winner gets to be Guest Designer for our next challenge. Looking forward to visiting and seeing your wonderful creations.

The complete copic range is available from Sammi at the Mad for Markers Store, delivering to Australia and New Zealand.

Now for some family stuff, for those that are interested. If not thanks for visiting, take careX:)

These are the birthday cards Rosanna and Morgan made for me

This is Morgan's card, he printed a sketch (hangman) he asked me if I got it and had to say I think so?!?!?! Not seen these charactors before.
This is the middle section

Rosanna made a cute fairy card that is layered/decoupage. Did make me laugh these two are making a card and I am meant to be making a card but I had to keep shutting my eyes so I couldn't see what they were doing lol!

This is a side view to show the layers. Don't forget I have celebration blog candy for those that are interested see here or top right of the side bar.

The following is gardening:

Heres hubby posing lol! We started a couple of weeks ago taking all the stone of the front (which we had only put down 18 months ago) but, we kept losing plants the only original is the lavender.

This is it all cleared of stone.

This is the heap of stones we shifted, which need to go back, I sure hope I lose some weight!!

This is after all the stone and weedmat was taken off. We then dug the ground over and dug little trenches down from the main plants, placed draining pipe in which connected to more draining pipe along the bottom, spread a full bag of gypsum all over (meant to help break down the clay) now hopefully when it rains the water will drain away and our poor plants won't die from rotton roots from being water bogged. Forgot to take pics of the 4 cubic metres of soil piled up at the front lol! We spread that out, then spread newspaper everywhere and put the stones back on top.

Finally back to where we started with a few extra plants, so keep your fingers crossed. Tthe little lavenders on the front are baby lavenders from the big lavender to the right.

This is the left over soil, a job for another weekend lol! The back is a much bigger ongoing project! Rusty does try to help by digging holes where he can to bury his bones lol!

The following three photos should have been posted in April, these are our little toms in a beautiful dish Rosanna made out of clay and decorated at school.

Just had to show you these PURPLE and Green Beans

and finally our rhubarb, which made a delicous crumble

Glitterbabe's Challenge #1 - Make It Sparkly

If you made it this far hope we didn't bore you too much, have a wonderful day.

Thank you for visiting, hope you are well, happy crafting, take care, AnnetteX:)

HOWDY ALL, hehe couldn't resist, this is my first DT post as a Cowgirl and Posse 1 will be showing you inspiration for the Cowgirls Sunday Stampen Challenge #6 this week and we Challenge you to us Scallops and Embellishments on your creations. I chose to use CJ's gorgeous 'Garden Faery' and made a Spinner Card, I have tried to create a garden scene, can you just image Garden Faery fluttering around the flowers. I have used rhinestones and purple stickles on some of the flowers, kindyglitz around the edges of the card, scalloped circle and the faery's clothes. You do not need to use one of CJ's images but if you have one we would love to them.

This is a close up of the little cutie I have coloured her using Copics, then added Gold Spica to her hair and lilac spica to her wings, special effects for the hair band and eyes.
