Christmas Decoration for our Mad for Markers Challenge

Hi all

First, blog hop post below and not to blow our own trumpets lol!  But the girls made some AMAZING creations, I was so excited too, my first ever hop which I have been part of, though it was late last night before I got hopping, don't forget the hop is open till Sunday.

Back to today's post, carrying on our challenge Anything but a Card I Thought I would make another Christmas Icing Decoration, (I made some last year with the idea from the 1st Magnolia Ink Magazine), they really do keep, I have two purples ones still hanging up.  Think they make beautiful gifts.  I have used Tilda unwrapped and of course coloured her using my copics.  The ribbon says Merry Christmas, I did try adding bows, charms etc but decided to keep it simple.

Spica has been added to her hair, ribbon in her hair and red wrapping paper.

Copics

0, C00, C1, BV11, BV13, E000, E00, E02, E11, E35, E50, E51, E53, R24, R27, Spica Pens Lavender, Gold & Red

Just a reminder Sammi over at the Mad for Markers Store can cater for all your copic requirements, as well as markers, there are various sticky tapes, Xpress Blend It Paper, masking paper etc. and new to the store Flourish with bling embellishments.  Posting to New Zealand and Australia. .  Also check out our new challenge blog each day for more wonderful inspiration from the DT and for our current challenge Anything but a Card.  We so look forward to visiting your space in blog land to see your wonderful creations.

On a personal note, we had a fantastic time yesterday in the Dandenong area, visiting The National Rhododendron Gardens in Olinda, which included a half hour bus tour ride, stunning flowers, gorgeous scenery and it was Free entry.  Then onto The Big Bouquet (now in the proud possession of a gerbera plant and flowers (don't often buy cut flowers but couldn't resist these, only $7 for 20 stems, bargain!), there are over 62,000 plants under one roof, then visited a stonefruit orchard covering 40 acres, we are going to go back in January when there is lots of fruit to pick.  Weather was just perfect a little damp to start off with felt like being back home in the Lake District, especially since I got to wear my walking coat I bought there, not had too many outings over here lol! Not sure what the plan is for today, everyone is still in bed!

For those in Melbourne having a fantastic day off, lets hope we don't get as much rain as predicted, we already have plenty of water standing in the garden lol!

  12. Your Christmas decoration is gorgeous, Tilda tastic.
Beautiful flowers, love flowers in my home and garden.
I've never been to Oz but many times to the Lakes, last Christmas we stayed and there was masses of snow and ice, so beautiful apart from having to be dug out of a carpark in Windermere.
glad you had a good day out, enjoy your Sunday. janex
