Sorry the sun came out briefly after work but still couldn't get my fairy to look Purple:(
Hi all, first apologies this beautiful Holly Fairy (Mo's Digitals) is definately PURPLE not blue, I have tried every room in the house to try and get a correct photo, will try again tomorrow but needed to post tonight to meet my deadline on Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge 23 which is the sketch to the right and don't forget about their Halloween/Fall Blog Hop tomorrow. The second challenge is Flutter by Wednesday #79 to create a card and have a fairy or butterfly on it and third is Bizzy Becs - Creatalicious Challenge 3, to use scrap DP paper, new cardstock and to make your own flower, couldn't believe my luck, so 3 in 1 challenges. At the bottom of this post is one of my original flowers which I have tried to do after watching Priscillas tutorial many times this was my second attempt, didn't set fire to as many this time but must warn you don't concentrate on the flower too much that you forget how far up the match the flame has got, hubby thought it a little risky! I rather think he was more bothered about me burning the table than my fingers (got to say got a little bit of a reputation, but thats another story though does involve candles!) Anyway the flower did not look right so this is my other attempt at a flower which I was shown how to do by Debbie P, who was shown by Kellie, (at stamp camp) got to say I do need more practice.
Recipe: Stampin Up Cardstock and DP (from my scrapbox), ribbons from my stash and must say the patterned ribbon came on a Christmas Present last year (so thats definately recylcling), just can't help myself, probably why my ribbon box is overflowing! Special Effects for the wings, Snowglobe and Flower.
This was my original flower, sorry Priscilla I do not do your tutorial justice but shall work on it! It turned out too big and the other just didn't look right.
Will be back tommorow with much better photos (fingers crossed as we have had a lot of rain), thanks for looking, happy crafting, take careX:)
