Knitted Jumper with Beanie and Hunny Bunny Marci Easter Card

Hi all, hope you are all well, things have been a little busy here so not had much time for blogging but will be catching up with you all soon.
First I would like to spread the word from Dawny's blog who is asking crafters to knit these special knitted jumpers and beanies for babies in India (called the newspaper babies) full details on her blog.  So Rosanna and I got our knitting needles out and this is the set I made and we are still knitting Rosanna's set together (working from each end of the ball of wool lol!) which hopefully will be finished soon.  So girls if you have time please get those needles out.

Here is Annabel modelling the Jumper and Beanie

Here is what the look like off the model

Now onto my inpsiration over at the Mad for Markers Store Blog I would like to show you this wonderful fun image from LaLa Land 'Hunny Bunny Marci' I was lucky to win her in Karen's Easter Candy, but she is available from the Store here
Rosanna and I were crafting and the Big Shot came out.  Rosanna had a go at embossing alsorts of things and embossed the purple foil paper from her Easter Egg for me, I then glued it to some card (very carefully lol).

A closer look at the spicas and special effects and the lovely embossing

Gorgeous copics, spicas and multiliners used

Exciting news and Lili's Easter Basket

Hi all, first still happy dancing the 'Lets Ink It Up DT' chose my 'Lili's Birthday Cake with Candles as the winner for their Challenge #11, so chuffed!  Thank you girls, cheered me up as my mojo has been awol just lately!

Even more exciting news I have been asked to stay for another five months on the Inky Impressions DT along with Sammi and Vicky WOO HOO!!!!  How lucky am I!!  So lucky to be on two of my dream teams!!!  We now have some more gorgeous Inkettes and will be having a blog hop on Friday so you can meet these talented ladies.

Back to business time for another challenge with the Inkettes and our lovely new Inkette Jackie would love you to have flowers as part of your creation.  I have made an Easter basket based on this tutorial here.  I have used the gorgeous image 'Lili's Egg Hunt'  and filled the basket with these beautiful sweet peas from our garden.

A view from the back, I tried adding flowers to the handle but they clashed too much with this gorgeous Basic Grey flowery paper, so added a beautiful purple bow and butterfly

This is a closer look Lili to show the special effects on her hairband, eyes, shoes and the eggs, kindyglitz was added to the edge of the purple card and to the butterfly along with pearl

For the first time I have coloured a sky and grass and have to say I am chuffed with my first attempt, the sky
is blue but perhaps I need to be brave and go a darker shade of blue.

Sneak Peak for Doodle Palace - 'Painting Eggs'

Hi all, very quick post as should be on my way out the door, totally got my days mixed up seem to have lost a day, thats what having the children off school does to you LOL! Couldn't get a good photo last night. Anyway today I would like to introduce to you 'Painting Eggs' this cute image is available from the Doodle Palace, how cute is this reminded me when we used to hard boil eggs with the children then Easter Weekend we used to go the Hoad Monument and there used to be loads of people letting the eggs roll down the hill trying to see whose would get to the bottom without being to bashed up, great fun!
Created two cards one each for Rosanna and Morgan, couldn't resist trying to colour a purple bunny, not sure if I got it right! I followed our sketch challenge from last week (which I missed lol). But this week our challenge is to have the colour black on your creation.

Originally I coloured in some eggs to use at the top and then thought it would be more fun to have proper chocolate!
Hope to be back tonight to catch up on the Inky Girls Blog Hop and see who got through to the first round in The Greeting Farm Contest.

Thanks for visiting, happy crafting, take careX:)

SNEAK PEAK Doodle Palace

Hi all, it's Tuesday again and time for a peak at this weeks Digital Image from Doodle Palace, first we have Bear, Rabbit and Chicks, arent they just adorable, just had to have purple bear lol, you know how I struggle photographing purple hence not the best of pics, coloured using my touchmarkers and all dsp and card SU.

Secondly 'Where the Easter Bunny Lives' another cute bunny, materials as above. Couldn't resist the sentiment lol.
Please go check our my DT Doodle Princesses tommorow to see what wonderful creations they have come up with.

Not had much time for crafting, been getting frustrated, Rosanna wants to get more involved in challenges etc so have been setting up a blog for her, which has caused allsorts of problems with mine, you know me not being to computer literate. Only just got through most of the changes to mine (with hubbies help, when I could get it) and still not finished. Hopefully her first post will be soon, we ran out of time tonight, Morgan had his teacher/parent meeting and we decided to have a drive around Bacchus Marsh then had a lovely evening tea so been very spoilt tonight as meeting was everything we needed to hear. Lets hope it stays like that!!

Sneak Peak Doodle Palace

Hi all, time for another realise of digi images from Doodle Palace, the first image I have used is The Easter Cross, I had this idea to make a bookmark, so I cut around the shape after colouring, not telling you how many lilies or crosses I coloured, just not enough shades in my touchmarkers, so out came my watercolouring pencils and blender pen for the cross, placed onto Metallique Sculptured Paper - crazed, then onto Very Vanilla (SU), Sentiment (SU), laminated then added some lovely ribbon.

The lilies turned out much better using watercolours, distressed the edges, sponged and placed on SU dsp and Tangerine Orange.
Now this is the start of a new family of images starting with Chibi Kid, so thought great idea to turn them into Easter parcels, that the Easter Bunny can hide, so below are three samples,

Sorry photos are not the best doesn't work in the sun, out the sun or in the house!! Must get a fancy box. I reversed the image on this chibi and placed her on a pouch parcel, (she did have a friend) my daughter wanted to colour her and unfortunately ended up with black streaks, and I didn't have time to print another off. So please pop over to Doodle Palace and check out the other DT's work (Wednesday) and find out what our new challenge is.

Thanks for visiting, happy crafting, take careX:)

FIRST SNEAK PEAK Chester Bunny for Doodle Palace

Hi all, this a new release called Chester Bunny for Doodle Palace, isn't he just so cute!!! Have coloured using my touchmarkers, used my new sparkly fluff for the tail Champagne Glitz stickles (from Susana's Store, link in my sidebar), also special effects for the eyes, nose and teeth.

I have used kitchen roll, so been wanting to use this on a project, kept some in my craft drawer, also got some gorgeous purple patterned kitchen roll and toilet roll, saving for another project. This fits in with the challenge to use a household item. Not the easiest of items to stitch!!! SU cardstock and dsp, punched flowers with kindyglitz and rhinestones.
Found the idea for this Easter Goodie Holder over on Alison's blog, check this girl out she has some wonderful projects to try out.

Finally butterflies with kindyglitz and pearl embellishments.
This is a piece of the kitchen roll, how pretty is that!

The Challenge at Doodle Palace this week is create a card using score lines, there are plenty of tutorials. Thought this would count too, as you needed score lines to create it.
