Knitted Jumper with Beanie and Hunny Bunny Marci Easter Card

Hi all, hope you are all well, things have been a little busy here so not had much time for blogging but will be catching up with you all soon.
First I would like to spread the word from Dawny's blog who is asking crafters to knit these special knitted jumpers and beanies for babies in India (called the newspaper babies) full details on her blog.  So Rosanna and I got our knitting needles out and this is the set I made and we are still knitting Rosanna's set together (working from each end of the ball of wool lol!) which hopefully will be finished soon.  So girls if you have time please get those needles out.

Now onto my inpsiration over at the Mad for Markers Store Blog I would like to show you this wonderful fun image from LaLa Land 'Hunny Bunny Marci' I was lucky to win her in Karen's Easter Candy, but she is available from the Store here. 
Rosanna and I were crafting and the Big Shot came out.  Rosanna had a go at embossing alsorts of things and embossed the purple foil paper from her Easter Egg for me, I then glued it to some card (very carefully lol).

    What a fabulous idea to reuse that candy wrapper ... they are really too pretty to just be thrown away! Looks awesome on your creation!

    Fabulous card Annette, love the image and fabulous colouring...and once again I left my chair when the music started..lol...not on my computer and it is blaring...cant find the volume...but love the song "Island in the sun"

    how adorable in her little knitted outfit,clever you,and kind. I can't knit for toffee but at my church they have a knit and natter group. They have sent loads of knits to Africa and a local hospital. A lovely lady and a friend of the church ,and me, died recently, aged 84,in her house were over 200 little knitted hats for premature babies, they but them in the church,on a table at her funeral,the church was packed and many of us shed a tear.

    Wow Annette your knitting really amazes me! I have tried once or twice to learn to knit, but no luck I am afraid. I will hop on over and read about the Indian babies though. Your Marci card is gorgeous and I love the embossed foil. Still no baby...it is taking its time, dont think it is ready yet!
