Hi all
We have a new challenge over at Mad for Markers and we challenge you to make anything but a card.
I have had this idea in my head to make a dressing table every since I made my first four drawer easel card, DH thinks I'm barmy lol! Now those experts out there will see it isn't perfect, I can never get all the drawers the same but nonetheless I am chuffed to pieces with it and Rosanna loves it!
I have used my some of my favourate stamps from Inky Impressions, Inky Girls Angelica and Lili, they remind me so much of Rosanna, she is a daydreamer and loves her bunnies Poppy and Charlotte. Didn't have a charm key so this is from my jewellery box which Rosanna and Morgan love peak in and find out the history of all the treasures stored there.
I have created a double sided swivel mirror using lollipop sticks and a kebab stick with wooden beads for the ends, (all coloured with copics) as well as some of the flowers and ribbon. This is Lili on the other side.
Have used brass ornate looking beads for feet and SU brad rhinestones for handles
I have used SU So Swirly Wheel and heat embossed using lilac to create the pattern over the dressing table. This is a back view.
A bud vase I made gluing two beads together, all flowers are from Bizzy Becs
A closer look at Lili, used pink rhinestones to add a little more bling, was very brave and used my Glimmermist Dazzling Diamonds on both girls and did end up with a few blotches, but they do have a love shimmer
There is no white on this project, I coloured the background with C00. Also used my blender pen 0 for the first to time in my colouring, (only use it normally to correct my mistakes lol)
Here is a closer look at Angelica, used special effects on both girls for eyes, headband and shoes, added kindyglitz to the flowers and butterflies.
COPICS
Lili with stuffed Bunny - C00, C1, C3,B24, B91, B95, B97, BV02, BV04, E000, E00, E50, E51, E53, R20, RV02, RV21, RV23, RV25, Y26, 0 & Spica Pink

ReplyDeleteHi Annette
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind comments on my blog.
I'm not too bothered about the craft fair .. .. there is another coming up soon and at least I have lots of stock LOL!!
The decoration you asked about on my card were actually prima flowers layered up .. .. but they were very think flowers made from a kind of organza ribbon. I bought them last year but they never looked right on anything I made.
Your creation here is awesome. It must have taken for ever to make.
Good luck in all the challenges you have managed to enter it into.
Hope your computer and family have now settled down!!
Love Jules xx
