Hi all, Yippee finally finished my Magnolia Down Under Store Challenge #1 - which was to make a card/creation using at least one Magnolia Stamp from the "Yummy for My Tummy" range, also managed to combine it with Kellie's Magnolia Down Under Sketch Challenge #26, I have inked my newly purchased Magnolia stamps Chef Tilda and Kitchen and most of the papers are Magnolia, all bought from Kellie's Magnolia Shop.
Not for blowing my own trumpet but I am pleased with this sketch as I usually use more bold colours, so got to be one of my first pastel creations.

The ribbon I purchased from Bizzy Bec's just love it over an inch wide. Flower and kitchen charms from my stash. I thought this made a lovely scene so have entered A Spoon full of Sugar #77 - "Create a Scene".
I distressed all the papers doesn't show up too much in the photo, which qualified for Just Magnolias challenge - Distressing
I hand stitched around the edge using a pale pink embroidery thread, I know it isn't very straight but I don't have the fancy gadget, just a ruler. Which happens to fit in with Quixotic's Challenge #2 - Stitching, which could be a card, tag, altered item, etc. I am so pleased with the way the dresser came out I started to colour in browns but just knew it had to be purple. Added a few glasses to the dresser, using Special Effects. Had to go back to my SU markers with blender pen as I don't have pastel purple Copics or Touchmarkers for colouring in, but used touchmarkers for the hair.
The jars have homemade Blackberry Jelly and Raspberry Jam, (specially made by Granny), put speical effects on the jars, when I put everything together felt there was something missing so made my own little Magnolia picture. My sketch is the inside of the Kaisercraft recipe box I had in my head needed to be made (not my brightest of ideas). Took ages to paint (twice).
Put all the necessary paper on, then for the first time typed the sentiment on the computer (big smiles) I was going to put photos in the side frames, but just couldn't pick out four.
Anyway went to put the box together last night and guess what it would not go together, the tabs wouldn't fit in the holes etc etc. So had to go to work with me today and I filed all the tabs, then had to file the edges and still disapointed as it is not square (not my filing) so not too impressed with this kit project. Then I had to touch up the paint after dusting it down. Just love that blueberry and peachy paper.
Thanks for looking, happy crafting, take careX:)
