Inky Impressions Animal Challenge - Sophia Snowball Easel Card

Hi all, hope you all have had a fantastic Christmas.  As from this week our Inky Impressions Challenges are going to be weekly and Challenge 3 is 'Animals' and today I have Nicole's new release 'Sophia's Sweet Snowman' isn't she just the cutest!!  I have made a circle easel (snowball) have distressed the edges and added Champagne Glitz Stickles to match the bow and used metallic embroidery thread to hang the cute snowman charm.  Snowflake punch covered with SU Chunky Glitter and a clear rhinestone in the middle.

Have used Glimmermist Marshmallow to give extra sparkle.

Kindy glitz for snow and special effects on the eyes and berries in the hair bow, Inky Dew Drops and clear rhinestones for added sparkle, with a gorgeous snowball trim around the edge of the image.

 These ribbons are just gorgeous, I have stuck the gold ribbon on top of the red and then trimmed the edges

TOP Ten Cards for 2010 Blog Hop

Had a break from the computer and just trying to catch up and see a few of my DT buddies from Mad for Markers and Inky Impressions taking part in this Top Ten Cards for 2010, thought it sounded like fun so stop by over at Suzi's blog for the full details.  Now I found this really hard to pick my favourates but this is what I chose.

Sweet Birthday Lili card for my friend

Hi all, welcome to our  Inky Impressions Challenge and this is our second week of our Black, White plus one colour, now I know I haven't followed the challenge  (this is my free week) as I wanted to create this card for my friend Hazel whom I left behind in England (we used to walk together most Wednesday whatever the weather, as you can image I have gained a pound or two since!!).  Just had to use this yummy ribbon from Crafty Ribbons to match my gorgeous Inky Impressions 'Birthday Lili' and my new The Sweet with Glitter papers stack from DCWV.  Now Hazel likes things plain and not too fussy so have kept the card that way.  Though I seemed to have got carried away with my Kindyglitz lol! (used it on the cakes, strawberry and large swirl)

Lili is coloured using Copics and Spica pens for the cake.  Now please do not look to close at her left eye, thought the special effects was dry and turned her over to stick the pop up stickers on and messed her eye up I have had to try and rectify by peeling the special effects off and using a multiliner, I just didn't have time to colour her again, I am just too slow, just can't wait to get faster and much better at colouring lol!

Now some good news my DT Stamps have arrived yesterday!  WOO HOO they are so gorgeous and can't wait to get creating using them.

Quick and Easy Snowmen Gift Tags

Hi all, time is flying by too fast lol!  Should have got this posted this morning but by the time I had them finished I ran out of time!  I so hope to get ahead of myself very soon!  Or as soon as time slows down lol!

It is the second week of our 'Anything Goes' challenge over at Mad for Markers the DT Creations and entries are amazing don't forget to check them out. I was needing some more tags and thought these TGF snowmen could help me out, coloured them using copics and added kindyglitz for extra added sparkly, used my SU tag punch for the tags, ribbon and eyelets from my stash.

JUST FOR FUN got Rosanna and Morgan one each (red & Blue) of these cute snowmen, might have to go and get me one lol!  Each year I buy them an ornament so when they leave home they will have a collection for their first tree.

Inky Impressions Fairy Lili Blossom Easel card for our Black, White + One Challenge

Good Morning/Evening

This was a scheduled post lol but I am still up and about and this week our Inky Impressions Challenge is Black, White + One other colour, starting Wednesday 7.00am EST, now postie still hasn't brought me my new images:( so I have used one of my favourates Inky Girls Fairy Lili, now this was a challenge for me, I have hardly used black and white and had to dig deep in my stash lol!  I tried something new on Lili's wings and used kindyglitz and sprinkled SU Dazzling Diamonds glitter while still wet and boy do they sparkle, then sprayed with Glimmer Mist Dazzling Diamonds.  Special effects for the eyes, hair bobbles and shoes.  I have used my spellbinders blossom for the shape and MS punch using black glitter card stock for the butterfly.   Sentiment is also from Nicole at Inky Impressions.  Now I have to say I pleased with how she turned out!

Had another go at flower arranging using these gorgeous flowers from Bizzy Bec's.

Another Christmas Bookmark

Hi all

We are having an 'Anything Goes' challenge over at Mad for Markers for the next four weeks.

Hope you are not to fed up with my bookmarks but I am just loving making them and I think they make a nice alternative to give instead of a card.  I have used Inky Impressions Rachel again as my new gingerbread ribbon arrived and I thought it perfect for this image.  I have turned the image around on this bookmark so the gingerbread ribbon could be seen. But then realised when you use it as a bookmark you can see it!!  Chunky Glitter snowflake with a brad for the centre and some sparkly ribbon from my stash.

Inky Impressions New Winter Release Blog Hop

Hi all, WOO HOO!  Welcome to The Inky Impressions blog hop, showing Nicole's new Winter Release, now if you hopped here from the gorgeous Inkette Giovanna you are in the right place or if you are just visiting you may like to go to the beginning of the hop at The Inky Impressions Blog.  

Nicole has some cute animals in this new release as well as a new friend for the girls.  Now unfortunately postie hasn't brought my new images :( So I got to play with Rachel again and made a corner bookmark.  Now I have cropped some of the image, for the full image see my easel card I made last week here.  Isn't she just gorgeous.  Have used lots of kindyglitz, also Glimmer Misted the image.

Fairy Lili Christmas Corner Bookmark in Blue

Hi all, finally here sorry I am running a little late day, usually have this posted by lunchtime.  You still have until Saturday to enter our 'non traditional Copic Colouring Christmas Creation Challenge over at Mad for Markers, I challenged myself to a blue card and have used the gorgeous Fairy Lili to create a  corner bookmark.  Have used lots of sparkle (kindglitz, SU glitter, Glimmer mist Dazzling Diamonds).  Special effects for the eyes, bobbles, shoes, nails.

 Just to show you this gorgeous snowflake ribbon before I put the image in place.(from Crafty Ribbons as was the star ribbon around the edge)  I cute a couple of the snowflakes out and glued them to the blue ribbon.

WOO HOO My First DT Post for Inky Impressions with an Easel Card

Hi all, I am so excited, I just can't hide it (now you will be all singing that song today lol!  The day is finally here for my first Inky Impressions DT Post !!  The Inkettes and Inky Dude were given this gorgeous digital image 'Rachael's Gingerbread Christmas' isn't she just gorgeous!   I am still in the theme of non traditional Christmas colours so we have a purple tree lol!  All the baubles have been coloured using Spica Pens then special effects added also to the lights. Rhinestones for extra sparkle.  And yes I have used a paper dollie.

Side view to show you the layers and sparkles from Kindyglitz and Glimmer Mist Dazzling Diamonds. I also made the ribbon bow.  There are copic coloured pearls on the tree to.  Now after I had coloured and layered this cute image I decided I wanted to cut it out now that was tricky around the layered parts lol!

How cute is that pooch.
