Midnight Madness Challenge Week #15 - (MMSC15)

Hi all, finally got to use one of my digital stamps from Sunshine Stamps, these are absolutely wonderful digital images, you should go visit their shop, they are fairly new in setting up and add new images each week, they are sponsoring this weeks Midnight Madness Challenge, go visit Priscilla for full details and see what the Design Team have come up with, I first saw these on Debbie P's blog she has done some lovely creating with them. This is this weeks sketch:
and here is what I have done using my newly purchased HaySeedHank, as soon as I saw it, I just had to have him, made this card with my brother-in-law in mind, who unfortunately has just has his birthday so will keep this for next year.
Materials used various card stock, I have used Stampin Up Markers and Water Colour Pencils, blender pen, silver embossing on the wheels and engine, also crystal effects to try and give him a shine. Then sponged the sky and ground, you can also see I turned the sketch on its side.

Thanks for looking, happy crafting, take careX:)

45th Wedding Anniversary

Hi all, this is a card for some very good friends 45th Wedding Anniversary (sapphire) so have used blue bayou and soft sky for the card stock, ribbon and ink. I sponged the edge of the whisper white, embossed the greetings, used Chunky Crystals (Crystal Iris) for the fizz in the glasses and used Cheers (one of my favs) and Congrats Stamp Sets. Thanks for looking, Happy Crafting, Take CareX:)

Sunrise/Sunset?

Hi again, another fab afternoon of stampin and blogging, I am making the most of it, because I will soon be back at work. The following card has been in my head forever, it is one of the reasons I bought 'Lovely as a Tree' and only today has it been created (took a while getting all the right gear) we have seen and made similar cards at Leonie's Workshops (will learn how to make that light up so you can connect to her blog). I love sunsets and this is what I have tried to create but I think it is more like a sunrise.

Firstly I Versamarked the stamp then used Night of Navy and the heat tool, which doesn't show up too much in the photo (will try again in daylight tomorrow) then used So Saffron, Summer Sun, Only Orange, Pixie Pink, Orchid Opulence (had to get some shade of purple in LOL), then Night of Navy, Bordering Blue, Ballet Blue & Brocade Blue for the Sky, finally Always Artichoke and Old Olive for the grass, this was done using sponges. Used Bright Orange and Night of Navy for the card stock, maybe I should have used Always Artichoke but wanted something Bright. Open to any suggestions on how to better this, from you experts out there.

Rosanna and Morgan are having another Xmas card making session and some real creative effort is being made as they want them to go on the blog, looks like I have more competition, may even have to set them up a blog of their own.

Thanks again for looking, take care and happy crafting X:)
