Inky Impressions Sizzling Summer New Release Blog Hop

Hi all, hope you are all well, just a quick post from me to tell you about Nicole's fantastic new release of Inky Impressions Images, this has to be one of my favourate releases.  Christopher mowing reminds me of Morgan mowing the garden and Gardening Lili is a younger version of Rosanna and Sassy Lili is the now older version lol!  The DT have done some AMAZING Inspiration for you to grab a coffee or a glass of wine and hop lol!  I did mine today at work, was lucky the cycle time on the CNC was 8 mins so brightened my day up by hopping along when I could lol!

Soon off to take Rosanna to a party finishing at 10.30pm, better social life than me lol!  Just a shame her friends mostly live 40+ minutes away, off into the country tonight, would be nice if it wasn't raining and soon to be dark lol!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, happy crafting and hopping, take careX:)

Exciting news and Lili's Easter Basket

Hi all, first still happy dancing the 'Lets Ink It Up DT' chose my 'Lili's Birthday Cake with Candles as the winner for their Challenge #11, so chuffed!  Thank you girls, cheered me up as my mojo has been awol just lately!

Even more exciting news I have been asked to stay for another five months on the Inky Impressions DT along with Sammi and Vicky WOO HOO!!!!  How lucky am I!!  So lucky to be on two of my dream teams!!!  We now have some more gorgeous Inkettes and will be having a blog hop on Friday so you can meet these talented ladies.

Back to business time for another challenge with the Inkettes and our lovely new Inkette Jackie would love you to have flowers as part of your creation.  I have made an Easter basket based on this tutorial here.  I have used the gorgeous image 'Lili's Egg Hunt'  and filled the basket with these beautiful sweet peas from our garden.

A view from the back, I tried adding flowers to the handle but they clashed too much with this gorgeous Basic Grey flowery paper, so added a beautiful purple bow and butterfly

This is a closer look Lili to show the special effects on her hairband, eyes, shoes and the eggs, kindyglitz was added to the edge of the purple card and to the butterfly along with pearl

For the first time I have coloured a sky and grass and have to say I am chuffed with my first attempt, the sky
is blue but perhaps I need to be brave and go a darker shade of blue.

Inky Lili's Birthday Cake with Candles and flowers lol!

Hi all,

First I would love to welcome my new followers, hopefully I have popped round, commented and followed you, though one or two of you I couldn't find a blog address, so please let me know so I can pay you a visit.

Now time for another Inky Challenge and our gorgeous Inkette Sandie set the challenge this fortnight to use Die Cuts, now for sometime I have wanted to make one of these fancy easel cards lol!  Can't remember where I first seen one (could have been Merry) but, saved this link to a tutorial, check them out , there are many STUNNING creations.

I have used the gorgeous 'Lili's Birthday Cake' image and 'Make a Wish' sentiment available here coloured with Copics, Spica Glitter and added Special Effects and Glimmer Mist.  My icing skills need a little more practice using the pearl pen lol!

Now I wanted to have flowers as this card is for a very special friend, who was our neighbour, when we bought our house together in England (her and DH have been out twice to visit us) she will be 70 in May and does flower demonstrations, those who have followed me for sometime know I struggle with flowers, so I got DH's opinion and he didn't like the flowers, he thought the blue too big and the brown didn't go and I was brave sending to someone who knows what to do with flowers lol!  Now I like them, wanted to add a little more green but the leaves didn't look right, maybe some twirly green bits.  But please tell me what you think, I would love you to be HONEST!
This is the card laying flat, I have added kindyglitz all around the edges

With the candles in the box

This is the card before I added the flowers and more icing lol!
SO WITH OR WITHOUT FLOWERS

Now pop over to the Challenge blog and see what gorgeous eye candy the Inspirational Inkettes have for you.

Oldie But A Goodie Challenge 15 - Pink, Blue and Brown
